APIS Pay was a mobile service that brought cryptocurrency wallets and payments into a chatbot-style interface. I worked on product strategy, software architecture, wallet and payment development, and the path to launch. The central challenge was translating the complexity of blockchain transactions into a conversational flow without weakening the safety expected of a financial product.
APIS Platform 2.0 improved the existing web experience while strengthening the backend for future growth. Rather than treating the interface and infrastructure as separate projects, we worked on the user-facing flow and the systems supporting it together.
In 2018, I participated in the development and launch of the APIS mainnet. My work began with smart contracts, but releasing a live network required a much broader view. We had to verify EVM compatibility, place the testnet under load, investigate each issue, and determine whether the network could withstand real operating conditions.
